#MOTOROLA PROGRAMMING SLOW PRO#
It's much older than the Pro series of radios. The GM300 that was marketed here in the US is a different critter. The GP/GM300 series that you have translates to the CDM/HT series here in the US. But the name of the product alone tells me it's an overseas version from my (US) perspective.

I don't keep up with current versions of the European, South American, and Asian versions of the software for the Pro series.

Even then, some folks reported issues running on anything fancier than the 32 bit version.Ĭabletech and I are both in the US.

But, as Cabletech mentioned before, the Pro CPS would not run on Win 7 machines until /\/\ released an update for that.

Since I don't know anything about the EA version of the CPS, it's not possible for me to tell you if what you have is new enough to run on Win 7. If his is newer, that might be the problem right there. He can tell you if his version is the same or newer. If you and your dealer are using the same version, then that's not the problem. The US GM300 used old, old, RSS for DOS and was never produced in a windows version.

Commercial, Professional Radio and Personal RadioĬlick to expand.Cabletech and I are both in the US.We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola). The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate just purchase it.įor M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.
